The Tribble Toys company was co-founded by David Gerrold, the author of “The Trouble With Tribbles” and “More Troubles, More Tribbles.”SO, WHAT'S A GLOMMER?Glommers originated in the animated “Star Trek” episode “More Tribbles, More Troubles.” As you probably know, Klingons hate Tribbles as much as Tribbles hate them. So they genetically engineered Glommers for a singular purpose: to eat Tribbles!DOES THE TRIBBLE SPAWN MORE TRIBBLES?Nope! In the animated episode “More Tribbles, More Tribbles” we learn that the Tribbles have been altered and are no longer born pregnant.
